Soy is also very problematic. Now widely known among new factions of Vegetarians. (Raw vegans, 80/10/10)

That a particular diet is healthy for SOME people doesn't prove anything. My neighbor doesn't eat vegetables. This must be the healthy diet for all.

B12 is not the problem. Its the vegetarian diet itself. There are no vegetarians in the evolutionary history of man. If there are, they didn't survive.

First class protein and fats are only available in animal sources.

Meat is good in small amounts. The societies with the highest vitality and longevity don't eat nearly as much meat as we do in the west. I know that historically we ate meat. But we only recently learned to farm, does that mean we shouldn't farm because it's not as old as meat eating? Ancient man didn't have the resources that we do now. All the benefits from meat can be found elsewhere. And if some people want to find it elsewhere, let them. You said yourself, it's not unhealthy.

Is your neighbor deficient in any nutrients, I bet he is. And just because there were no vegetarians in the evolutionary chain, doesn't mean anything much about today. There were no Broadway producers on the evolutionary chain of man, should we stop watching The King and I? No juice machines either, should we burn jamba juice? If some people want to be vegetarians and they're not deficient in any nutrients, whats the problem? More meat for us, I say! ^__^

None of the supercentenarians are vegetarians. Get your facts straight. The vegetarians you speak of are the Loma Lindans, Okinawans, Sardinians who are known for their longevity. However, NON-vegetarians beat them all as supercentenarians.

Not all that is in meat can be found elsewhere. Methionine for instance is seriously deficient in all of non-vegetarian sources. Omega3 which is available in walnuts and flax are also poor in quality.

Jamba juice and nutrition do not mix.

The perfect human snacks are nuts, beef jerky, a little bit fruits. Nothing packed, no labels, no brand, or celebrity endorsement.

It was just an example. Here's another. A guy is put by his doctor in anemic diet. Healthy for him. Doesn't prove anything. Doesn't make it healthy for all of humans.

This is the error in your argument. Just because a particular diet is healthy or prescribed to some, does not make it the best for humans in general.

The analogy on Broadway is not related to diet.
