Fasting can lead to serious health issues if not properly regulated.

I eat plain yogurt. I don’t like sugar. The granola bars I eat are homemade with just a little bit of honey, and the raisins aren’t packed in sugar or anything. The oatmeal is plain, too.

You should eat at least 3 meals a day, but really it’s best to have 5 meals a day, just have really small meals. I eat oatmeal with raisins and a glass of rice milk for breakfast, a granola bar, raisins, and a banana for lunch, a cup of yogurt or a granola bar for a snack, and then for dinner I usually eat pasta or something I cooked earlier in the week.

That is so true, its about changing your lifestyle and your attitude towards food, diets are only temperary, eventually youll burn out and end up EXACTLY where you began- and in regards to the video this is responding to- eating healthy should be about moderation, not deprivation the occasional luxury is ok.

Thanks for putting up these videos! Great information, I appreciate what all you guys are doing. Please keep the videos coming. Logic2Reason, stop being such an asshole! These are educated people taking time out of their busy lives, to better inform & drop down knowledge on kids like you…

Not all diets are created equal. I agree that diets don’t work. Fasting hurts so much, I can stand the hunger but it actually hurts. So many people have tried to sell me diet gimmicks, and none of them have worked. I find that when I eat my breakfast( oatmeal and an apple) I don’t feel hungry for the majority of the day. Very good advice.

Thank you. You said it right: Take care of yourself. Dont beat up your body with bad eating habits and inactivity-pay attention to what you put in your mouth and what your body is telling you. Your body is truly a temple.

nice video thanks.. what is a good replacement for bread as I think it probably has a high GI value? I have sandwitches at lunch and mid morning snack and this may be hindering weight loss.

Yea! Screw the stupid dictionary. Hell you’re smarter than the people the write dictionaries and doctor that made the video! Becoming more education is for noobs!

  19. logic2reason on Thu, 18th Jun 2009 3:34 am

screw the stupid dictionary. a diet that works for you, could not work for someonse. The term DIET si so over used. a diet is just waht you eat… what is your diet… everyone has on. its not just something someone does to loose weight. diet means food consumption. so which means you fuking eat to much on a regular basis. having more than 1 definition shows you that people need to be controlled. If changing the definition helps, then do it. don’t try to sell me that crap….

  20. psychetruth on Fri, 19th Jun 2009 12:17 pm

Look up the word diet in a dictionary smart guy.

Sometimes words have more than one definition.

  21. logic2reason on Sat, 20th Jun 2009 6:08 pm

weight loss is gay. by definition of diet is jsut what you fucking eat… so sading a diet doesnt work is like a stupid paradox. The only way to loos weight is self control… and i didnt get a ph.d for that. simple fact. Learn laws of thermodynamics. Energy in= energy out + storage + usage. This does not just refer to vehicles. Everything uses the laws of physics. YOu eat to much if your storing calories. either than, or you dont burn enough energy/calories

through age regression hypnosis I found that over eating and a lack of desire to exersize has an emotional association. something happened making them drawn to eating to make them FEEL better as a distraction to FEELING bad. If you can consciously overcome it generally they will tranfer it to something else like gambling, anger or sadness. associative memory is very important in behavior modification.

I know it may seem like less of a problem, but I’ve lost too much weight and have no idea how to gain it back. I eat eggs like no other, but cant seem to bulk back up. Regular exercise/weight lifting just makes me skinny and even some of my family is worried. I know there’s probably something I should be eating, but I just don’t know.

  24. BigSparky22 on Thu, 25th Jun 2009 12:29 pm

people are just looking for an easy way out & other people are taking advantage of that & creating bogus diet ideas that these desperate people will waist their money on these bogus ideas, weight loss is obvious but there is no easy way out, stop sugary drinks, drink water & greed tea & skim milk, eat more vegitables & all breads should be wheat, also walk or do some sort of cardio, cut out junk food & don’t over eat
