I consulted with my doctor and a nutritionist at the hospital where I work and this is what I did for about 6 months and lost 40 pounds:

Breakfast - raisan bran with skim milk
    10 AM snack - 100-calorie yogurt
Lunch - one lean meat, one vegetable
    3 PM snack - apple
Dinner - Lean Cuisine, tomato or carrots, wheat bread with promise butter
9 PM snack - popcorn or nuts

No bread, no alcohol, no sweets - for my chocolate fix, I would occassionally eat a couple pieces of dark chocolate or the sugar free 60 calorie Jello chocolate pudding

I know you don’t want to exercise, but I also ran or walked 30 minutes a day, six days a week while I was dieting.

Drink lots of water and eat as much raw vegetables as you can stand but stay from the fruits except for your daily apple!

Keep in mind, any weight loss of more than like 2-3 pounds per week is not very healthy. Good luck!!

You don’t need to spend money on fake diet gimmicks… eat everything in MODERATION. This way you can still enjoy the food you eat AND lose weight (it’s all about portion control). Incorporate more fruits and veggies into your meals, and eat lean meats (like chicken and salmon, stay away from red meat or sandwich meats). Definitely limit your intake of processed foods. Drink lots of water, and get plently of sleep (because sleep deprivation increases appetite).

If you don’t like to exercise, at least walk for 30 minutes a day 3-5 days a week to get blood circulating and muscles moving. Or do enjoyable activities, such as hiking or riding a bike, where you are having fun so you don’t notice you’re exercising (exercising can definitely feel like a chore some times).
